Product Description

The Nylon Plastic Expansion Screw is a compact pre-assembled fastening solution specifically engineered for electrical outlet boxes, switch panels, and junction box mounting on drywall and plasterboard surfaces. Each complete set includes a 5mm diameter PA6 nylon expansion plug pre-matched with an M3 x 25mm zinc-plated steel screw, providing a ready-to-use fastening system without the need to source or verify screw compatibility.
 
The installation follows the classic expansion principle: drill a 5mm hole at the marked outlet box position, insert the nylon plug until its collar sits flush with the wall surface, then drive the M3 screw into the plug. As the screw advances, the cone-shaped tail forces the plug body to expand radially against the hole wall, creating a secure friction lock that anchors the electrical box firmly in place. The nylon plug body is non-conductive and electrically insulating, providing inherent safety when mounting near live wiring and electrical components.

Electrical Insulation Safe
The 100% nylon plug body is naturally non-conductive and electrically insulating, providing a critical safety advantage when mounting outlet boxes and switch panels adjacent to live wiring. Unlike metal anchors, there is absolutely no risk of short-circuit, grounding issues, or current conduction through the fastener body in electrical applications.
