Product Description
The All-Nylon Non-Conductive Plastic Furring Channel Leveling Anchor is a specialized 100% polymer fastening solution for electrical room ceiling mounting, substation furring channel installation, and chemical plant framing where metal fasteners pose electrical conductivity risks or galvanic corrosion hazards. Unlike standard nylon anchors that use a metal expansion screw, this anchor features both the body and the screw manufactured entirely from high-strength nylon PA6, creating a completely non-conductive, non-magnetic, and corrosion-proof fastener assembly. The nylon screw features a precision-molded square head with Phillips drive recess designed to withstand the torque required for split-body expansion activation without stripping the polymer drive interface. Installation follows the standard four-step furring channel anchor procedure with slightly reduced torque application: drill a matching hole, thoroughly clean borehole dust, vertically hammer the anchor flush, and diagonally tighten the nylon screw to engage expansion without exceeding the polymer torque limit. Ideal for electrical substations, data center ceiling grids, chemical processing plant framing, and any environment where metal fasteners are prohibited or impractical.
