Installation Instructions

Important Safety Note:
Rear combination lamp replacement involves electrical connector handling—disconnecting the vehicle 12V battery negative terminal is recommended before replacement to prevent short circuits or accidental illumination. Take care to avoid damaging the lamp housing sealing structure during operation.

Tools Required:

• Plastic trim removal tool

• Phillips screwdriver / Socket wrench

• Torque wrench (Reference: 8-12 N·m)

•  Cleaning cloth

Installation Steps (General Reference) :

1. Disconnect power: Disconnect vehicle 12V battery negative terminal

2. Remove trunk interior trim: Remove side trunk interior trim to access taillight mounting position

3. Disconnect electrical connector: Unplug the harness connector from the rear combination lamp assembly

4. Remove retaining nuts: Remove nuts securing the rear combination lamp assembly (typically M8, torque reference 11-13 N·m) 

5. Remove old lamp assembly: Carefully remove the old rear combination lamp assembly

6. Compare & confirm: Verify new part matches old in left/right orientation and connector type

7. Install new lamp assembly: Position the new rear combination lamp assembly—align with mounting holes

8. Tighten retaining nuts: Install and tighten nuts to specified torque

9. Connect harness: Reconnect the rear combination lamp harness connector—ensure secure connection

10. Reinstall trunk trim: Reinstall side trunk interior trim

11. Reconnect & test: Reconnect battery, start vehicle—test all taillight functions

• Pay attention to left/right orientation: Left rear combination lamp (OE: 14975718-00) and right rear combination lamp (OE: 14975713-00) are separate components *

• Avoid touching the inner surface of the lens during installation—fingerprints or stains may affect light transmission

• Mounting nuts must be torqued to specification—over-tightening may cause housing cracking, under-tightening may cause looseness and water ingress
