Installation Steps (General Reference):
Lift Vehicle: Raise the front using a lift, remove front wheels
Remove Caliper & Disc: Remove caliper and secure to body, remove brake disc
Remove Speed Sensor: Carefully remove front wheel ABS speed sensor
Remove Drive Axle Nut: Remove drive axle retaining nut
Remove Tie Rod End: Use ball joint separator to disconnect tie rod end from knuckle
Remove Lower Arm Ball Joint: Remove lower control arm ball joint to knuckle bolts
Remove Strut Connection: Remove strut-to-knuckle mounting bolts
Remove Knuckle: Remove old steering knuckle from drive axle and vehicle
Clean Mounting Area: Clean drive axle splines and new knuckle mounting surfaces
Install New Knuckle: Install new knuckle onto drive axle, pre-tighten all connections
Install Strut Connection: Connect strut to knuckle, pre-tighten bolts
Install Lower Arm Ball Joint: Connect lower control arm ball joint to knuckle, pre-tighten bolts
Install Tie Rod End: Connect tie rod end to knuckle, pre-tighten nut
Reinstall Disc & Caliper: Reinstall brake disc and caliper, torque to specification
Reinstall Wheel: Reinstall wheel and tighten, lower vehicle
Torque Axle Nut: Torque axle nut to specification with vehicle on ground
【Professional Tips】:
Wheel alignment is mandatory after knuckle replacement—ensure front wheel alignment parameters (toe, camber) meet specifications
Recommended to replace both left and right sides as a pair for symmetric suspension geometry
