The cooler is a core component of the vehicle's thermal management system. Installed at the front of the vehicle, behind the condenser, it dissipates heat from the engine, drive motor, and electronic control systems into the air through coolant circulation. The Destroyer 05 is equipped with the BYD472QA 1.5L Xiaoyun engine (max power 81kW) and a permanent magnet synchronous motor (total power 145kW), featuring liquid-cooled battery cooling. Its cooling system must simultaneously meet the thermal management needs of the engine, motor, electronic controls, and battery – demanding high heat dissipation efficiency and reliability from the cooler.
In daily use, the cooler is long subjected to high temperature, high pressure, and vibration, making it susceptible to stone chips, corrosion, and clogging – leading to reduced heat dissipation efficiency, engine/motor overheating, and poor A/C cooling performance. It is one of the components that require replacement after a certain mileage.
Our product is strictly developed to original Destroyer 05 OE specifications, featuring all-aluminum brazed construction with a parallel flow multi-channel flat tube + louvered fin core for high heat dissipation efficiency and low air resistance. Mounting holes and pipe connections precisely match the original 1:1 for no-modification replacement installation.

The Destroyer 05's cooling system must simultaneously manage temperatures for the engine, drive motor, electronic controls, and battery – featuring liquid-cooled battery cooling, with the radiator serving as the thermal management hub. Our product meets the high heat dissipation demands of the 5th generation DM super hybrid system.
Each product undergoes 100% air tightness testing (helium leak detection) and pressure cycle testing before shipment, ensuring no micro-leaks. Seals are made of coolant-resistant material for precision fitment with pipe connections. The Destroyer 05's cooling system involves multiple circuits for the engine, motor, electronic controls, and battery – any leak can cause system failure. Our product strictly meets original factory standards for long-term reliability.
Safety First:Ensure the vehicle is turned off and the engine is completely cooled (recommend waiting 2+ hours after shutdown) to prevent burns from hot coolant.
Disconnect Battery Negative Terminal:Prevent electrical shorts or accidental startup.
Drain Coolant:Open the drain valve at the bottom of the radiator and collect old coolant with a drain pan –notice environmental disposal.
Prepare Tools:10mm/12mm socket wrench, slip-joint pliers (for hose clamp removal), plastic pry tool, drain pan, new coolant.
Replace Seals:Recommended to replace inlet/outlet seals simultaneously to prevent post-installation leaks.
