This swing gate turnstile turns a QR code into the only key a visitor needs. The venue issues a code through its registration page, app or email, the visitor shows it on a phone screen or brings a printed ticket, and the scanner built into the pedestal reads it in a fraction of a second before the acrylic swing arms open in 0.5 seconds. Codes can be dynamic, meaning the code refreshes at short intervals and is valid once, so a screenshot forwarded to a friend does not open the lane. When the network is unstable the controller keeps validating against a local list that is synchronised from the registration platform, and every pass with a QR code is stored with the code value, lane number, date and time so the organiser can reconcile registrations against actual arrivals. The lane passes 30 persons per minute in controlled mode and 40 persons per minute in normally open mode, which is enough for exhibition halls, office visitor lobbies, school gates, hospital outpatient entrances, attractions and event venues where registration and entry happen at the same door.
