1. Product Description

Glatiramer Acetate is a synthetic polypeptide acetate salt composed of four natural amino acids: L-glutamic acid, L-alanine, L-tyrosine, and L-lysineCOPAXONE®. It is a random polymer mixture with an average molecular weight of 5,000–9,000 Daltons, designed as an immunomodulatory agent.

It acts as a myelin basic protein (MBP) analog, binding to MHC molecules to compete with autoantigens and induce anti-inflammatory T helper 2 (Th2) suppressor cells.

Solubility: Slightly soluble in water & methanol
