RG316 is a 50Ω coaxial cable built around a single-layer silver-plated copper braid. Its manufacturing process is centered on one-pass braiding with tight tension control, allowing the cable to achieve a carefully balanced combination of shielding coverage and mechanical flexibility.
Outer Conductor (1:SC): Single-layer silver-plated copper braid. Provides adequate electromagnetic shielding (>90% optical coverage) for standard in-house environments.
Compact Geometry: 1.98mm over braid / 2.49mm over jacket. This slim profile ensures perfect compatibility with standard SMA, MCX, and MMCX straight crimp connectors.
