SMT reflow soldering mainly achieves reliable electrical connection between surface-mount components and circuit boards by heating with precise temperature control to melt the solder paste pre-coated on PCB pads, and it boasts multiple core technical advantages.

I. Technical Features:

- Reflow soldering adopts a segmented temperature control curve that strictly divides four temperature zones: preheating, constant temperature, reflow and cooling. It can accurately adjust the temperature, heating rate and holding time of each phase according to component materials and PCB layer thickness. It effectively prevents soldering defects such as solder splashing, cold solder joints and solder beads caused by rapid temperature rise of solder paste. Meanwhile, it ensures sufficient melting and wetting of solder, delivering uniform and consistent solder joints, greatly reducing the reject rate of soldering failures including open joints, bridging and tombstoning, and meeting the requirements of high-precision surface-mount soldering.

- This process has no rigid restrictions on component size and package. It can perfectly adapt to various precision surface-mount devices such as 0201 and 01005 ultra-miniature resistors and capacitors, QFP, BGA, CSP and LED beads, and is compatible with different board materials including single-layer, multi-layer and flexible PCBs. The soldering process requires no contact with component bodies, so no mechanical damage will be caused to precision chips and thin-wall components, maximally protecting the performance and appearance integrity of components.
