The 330DA converts continuous input rotation into precise intermittent output through a globoidal cam engaging the flange's needle rollers. The rolling contact produces minimal friction and wear, while the mechanical dwell lock holds the flange rigid at each indexed position, ensuring angular accuracy is maintained without servo holding torque.
