The HONEPAN 230DA cam indexing mechanism is a heavy-duty rotary positioning unit built around a large-diameter flange output. Engineered with a deep-hardened cam surface and reinforced bearings, the 230DA resists wear under shock loading and delivers stable positioning even with off-center fixtures. Its sealed lubrication system supports long unattended production runs, minimizing downtime and maintenance intervention.
As the input shaft rotates, the globoidal cam's rib profile engages the output flange's needle rollers, advancing the flange through one angular step. The dwell section of the cam then seats against adjacent rollers to lock the flange mechanically. This rolling-contact lock holds heavy loads rigidly without any electrical or pneumatic holding force.
