The HONEPAN 60DS motion index drive is a compact, high-speed cam indexer engineered for light instruments, small rotary indexing tables, and precision positioning stages. Despite its small envelope, it retains the same backlash-free cam-and-roller architecture as our larger models, so rapid cycling never sacrifices positional accuracy or repeatability.
With a low-inertia output table and precision-ground cam profile, the 60DS achieves fast, quiet indexing ideal for electronics assembly, small component feeding, and light inspection turntables where space and speed are both at a premium.
The 60DS operates on the same spatial cam principle as the full HONEPAN range: a rotating globoidal cam engages needle rollers on the output turret, advancing it through precise angular steps and locking it during dwell. This rolling-contact design minimizes friction, enabling high cycling rates with low heat generation and minimal noise.

A cam indexer converts continuous motor rotation into precise intermittent (stop-and-go) rotary motion. A hardened globoidal cam engages needle roller followers on the output turret, advancing it one station per revolution and mechanically locking it during dwell — no electronic feedback, sensor, or brake is required.
