The motor drives a large globoidal cam that engages the heavy-duty table output's needle rollers, advancing the dial through its station sequence. The cam's dwell section mechanically locks the table, holding heavy fixtures rigid while machining, assembly, or inspection operations proceed.

A hardened globoidal cam engages needle roller followers on the output turret, advancing it one station per revolution and mechanically locking it during dwell — no electronic feedback, sensor, or brake is required.
The PU320DS features a Table output, making it easy to mount dial plates, flanges, or fixtures directly. Its compact footprint integrates smoothly into automated assembly, packaging, and inspection workstations.
The PU320DS supports 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, 16 (customizable). We can also custom-grind the cam profile for a different station count or dwell angle to match your exact production sequence.
Indexing accuracy is 60 Sec. with repositioning accuracy of ±4 arcsec (±2 arcsec). This mechanical precision is maintained over a long service life thanks to the backlash-free cam-and-roller design.
