Product Description

Carbon steel plate is produced by hot rolling steel billet at temperatures above 1100°C and cutting to specified dimensions. With carbon content below 2.1%, it offers excellent strength, impact toughness, weldability and machinability at a competitive cost. Available in As-Rolled, Normalized or Quenched & Tempered condition, our plates are widely used in structural steel, heavy machinery, bridges, shipbuilding and pressure vessel applications.

Usage & Notes

· Plates are supplied black; apply anti-rust primer before outdoor storage or painting.

· Preheat according to material thickness and carbon equivalent before thick-plate welding.

· For critical structural use, refer to project welding procedure specification (WPS).

· Tolerances and surface condition are in line with EN 10029 / ASTM A6.

Shipping, Payment & Packaging

Delivery time: 10–25 working days after deposit, depending on thickness and quantity.

Payment terms: T/T (30% deposit, 70% against B/L copy) or L/C at sight.

Packaging: Bare packing with steel strips for thick plates; seaworthy export packing with fumigated wooden pallets for thin plates.

Loading capacity: 20' GP approx. 28 tons; 40' HQ / open-top approx. 26 tons; bulk vessel up to 5000 tons.

After-sales Service

We supply EN 10204 3.1 / 3.2 Mill Test Certificate before shipment. If any quality issue is confirmed by SGS / BV, replacement or compensation will be negotiated. Custom cutting, drilling, beveling and painting services are available on request.
