Product Description

Square and rectangular steel tube (also called hollow section) is manufactured by forming steel coil into round tube and then reshaping it into square or rectangular form through ERW welding. It offers excellent torsion resistance, smooth surfaces, easy welding and aesthetic appearance. Available in black, galvanized or painted finish, our hollow sections meet ASTM A500, EN 10219 and GB/T 6728 standards for steel structures, curtain walls, furniture, vehicle bodies and mechanical frames.

Common SHS / RHS Sizes

Usage & Notes

· Store indoors on flat dunnage; protect ends from moisture and deformation.

· For outdoor use, hot-dip galvanized or painted sections are recommended.

· Welding follows EN 1011-2; preheat for sections over 12 mm wall thickness.

· For structural design, section modulus and moment of inertia must follow project codes.

Shipping, Payment & Packaging

Delivery time: 7–20 working days after deposit, depending on sizes and quantity.

Payment terms: T/T (30% deposit, 70% against B/L copy) or L/C at sight.

Packaging: Bundled with steel strips, seaworthy export packing; suitable for container or bulk vessel.

Loading capacity: 20' GP approx. 28 tons; 40' GP approx. 26 tons; bulk vessel up to 5000 tons.

After-sales Service

We supply EN 10204 3.1 Mill Test Certificate before shipment. If any quality issue is confirmed by SGS / BV, replacement or compensation will be negotiated. Custom cutting, drilling, hot-dip galvanizing, painting and OEM orders are welcome.
