When recipes change often and batches stay small, complexity only gets in the way. The PS series keeps it short: load, spin, open the lid, lift the cake out by hand. Fewer parts than a scraper line means a lower purchase price and cleaning that one person finishes in minutes between products.
The filter fabric or screen sits in an open drum. Suspension is poured in and the drum is brought up to speed, so the centrifugal field pins the solids against the medium while clear liquid drains out through the drum perforations. Once the batch is dry, the operator stops the machine and lifts the lid on its counter-balanced hinge to take the dewatered cake out by hand.
Small-batch dewatering of fine chemicals, pharmaceutical intermediates, pigments and food additives, especially where products change frequently and cleanliness between runs matters.
