Oxidative Bleaching Enhancement: In processes where oxidative bleaching is used (like chlorine or peroxide treatments), DCA-58 complements these methods by further reducing color from residual pigments or organic impurities. This enhances the bleaching process, resulting in a clearer and more aesthetically pleasing effluent.
Removal of Organic Compounds: During bleaching, natural and synthetic organic substances are broken down, which can still impart a slight color to the water. DCA-58 works as a flocculant, binding to these organic compounds and removing them, improving the water’s final clarity and quality.
Supporting COD Reduction: Since bleaching often increases Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) in the effluent, DCA-58 assists in reducing COD by capturing residual organic materials. This helps industries meet COD standards for treated water discharge.
Increased Efficiency in Flocculation and Sedimentation: By enhancing flocculation, DCA-58 helps coagulate and settle fine particles created during bleaching. This speeds up the sedimentation process, making the treated water clearer and reducing the load on subsequent filtration systems.

Ajust the effluent sample pH to 7.5-8.0, then add 100-200ppm DCA-58 solution
Mix for several minutes to form flocs, and check the dosing rate.
Combine with PAC-300 if needed – do not pre-mix
Dose PAM solution for quick settlling
Allow settling or use flotation for separation
