Characteristics & Applications
In acidic media (pH 3-6), Amino-Dithiophosphate exhibits strong selective collection for lead and zinc sulfide minerals, enabling efficient separation in lead-zinc-sulfur and copper-sulfur systems. The dithiophosphate and aniline groups in its molecular structure work synergistically to form stable hydrophobic films on mineral surfaces, greatly enhancing the flotation recovery of target minerals.
The reagent has weak collecting action toward pyrite, effectively suppressing pyrite flotation under acidic conditions. This reduces its interference with lead-zinc concentrate quality and facilitates the production of higher-grade concentrates.
It possesses good foam-modulating properties, generating a stable and non-excessive foam layer that helps maintain hydrodynamic balance in the flotation process, prevents launder overflow, and improves separation efficiency.
The reagent is insensitive to changes in pulp temperature, maintaining stable flotation performance across different seasons and regions, making it particularly suitable for continuous industrial production.
