Product Description
1. Chemical composition
Carbon (C): The content is generally between 0.08% and 0.13%. The appropriate carbon content helps to ensure the strength of the weld metal.
Manganese (Mn): The content is between 1.50% and 1.90%. Manganese can deoxidize and improve the strength and toughness of the weld metal.
Silicon (Si): ≤0.07%. Silicon can improve the strength of the weld to a certain extent, but too high a content may affect the toughness of the weld.
Sulfur (S): ≤0.035%. Sulfur is a harmful element that will reduce the toughness and crack resistance of the weld metal, so its content needs to be strictly controlled.
Phosphorus (P): ≤0.035%. Phosphorus will also reduce the toughness of the weld metal and increase cold brittleness. Its content should also be limited.
2. Performance characteristics
Mechanical properties: The weld metal has a good combination of strength and toughness. Its tensile strength can generally reach 420-560MPa, yield strength is about 330MPa, and elongation is ≥22%, which can meet the use requirements of most engineering structures.
Welding process performance: stable arc combustion, beautiful weld formation, easy slag removal. During the welding process, there is less spatter, which can ensure welding quality and work efficiency.
