Precision CNC Turning Spline Coupling for Automotive Applications
This precision-machined spline coupling is engineered for reliable torque transmission in demanding automotive drivetrain and steering system applications. Manufactured from Stainless Steel 303, the material's superior free-machining properties enable the production of intricate internal and external spline profiles with exceptional dimensional accuracy and surface finish quality — ensuring consistent tooth-to-tooth engagement and smooth rotational performance under load.
The dual external spline configuration, combined with the internal bore spline, allows this coupling to effectively connect two shafts while accommodating minor misalignment and transmitting high torque with minimal backlash. This makes it particularly well-suited for automotive gearbox interfaces, steering columns, and differential assemblies where precision engagement is critical.
Following machining, each component undergoes a rigorous passivation treatment to chemically remove surface iron residues and strengthen the chromium oxide passive layer. This process significantly enhances corrosion resistance, ensures a clean and contamination-free surface, and extends the operational service life of the component in moisture-prone automotive environments.
All parts are produced in compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 quality standards. Every batch is subject to comprehensive inspection including spline profile gauging, CMM dimensional verification, surface roughness analysis, and passivation integrity testing prior to delivery.
