Manufactured from Aluminum Alloy 6061, the material provides an outstanding combination of lightweight rigidity, excellent machinability, and inherent corrosion resistance — ideal for complex optical mounting and fluid management components in precision instrumentation.
Design & Geometry
The component's sophisticated geometry integrates:
Stepped central boss with precision-bored top aperture
Circular flange base with symmetrically arranged threaded mounting holes
Rectangular manifold block incorporating dual lateral through-ports for fluid, gas, or electrical conduit routing
All intersecting features are machined across coordinated 5-axis CNC milling and turning operations, maintaining strict positional tolerances within ±0.01mm to ensure leak-free sealing interfaces and accurate optical axis alignment in final assembly.
Surface Treatment
The natural hard anodizing finish — Type III hard coat anodizing — builds a dense aluminum oxide layer of 25-50μm thickness directly into the base material surface.
This treatment achieves:
