This series of 1/4‑20 red copper screws are manufactured from high‑purity T2 red copper using a composite process: cold heading forming followed by CNC precision machining. This approach preserves continuous metal grain flow for improved tensile and anti‑fatigue performance while achieving tight tolerances for 1/4‑20 UNC thread, head dimension, and other critical features.
≥99.9% Cu content delivers outstanding electrical and thermal conductivity with low contact resistance. Tin‑plating or nickel‑plating options reduce oxidation and stabilize electrical performance.
Cold heading forms main body with uninterrupted metal grain flow, followed by CNC precision machining to achieve strict tolerances. This hybrid method provides superior strength and material utilization.
Thread rolling with full‑profile teeth and 100% go/no‑go gauge inspection ensures smooth engagement and anti‑stripping performance. Full‑thread and half‑thread versions available.
Available head types include pan head, socket cap head, countersunk head, hex head, and more. Adjustable shank length, smooth‑shaft length, and effective thread length.
Natural copper passivation, tin‑plating, nickel‑plating, and polishing options to reduce contact resistance, retard tarnishing, and improve solderability.
Comprehensive inspection including raw‑material verification, dimension inspection, thread gauge testing, and surface quality checks to ensure batch‑to‑batch consistency.
