The Amphenol ICC UltraPort SFP+ interconnect system is a low-cost, compact, and flexible solution designed for 28Gb/s applications. It features a 20-position hot-swappable I/O connector within a metal cage, compatible with SFP+ form factor dimensions and mating interfaces. This system supports next-generation Ethernet and Fibre Channel applications while maintaining backward compatibility with previous generation systems. Offered in various cage configurations, including stacked (2xN) versions, and available in press-fit or solder tail options, the UltraPort SFP+ is engineered for cost-optimized server and switch applications, accommodating multiple transceivers per INF-8081 for combined transmission and reception functions.
