The Amphenol ICC CFP4 series is a 56-position, 0.6mm pitch connector designed for multi-hundred Gb/s systems. It features insert molding assemblies for top side contacts and press-fit cage assemblies. Rated for 25Gb/s per channel with resonance dampening for improved signal integrity, the CFP4 offers up to 60% lower power consumption compared to CFP. The series includes a plug connector on the mating interface for enhanced accuracy and high-speed performance. It is a customizable solution with an optional riding heat sink for effective thermal dissipation and is compliant with IEEE and ITU-T applications. Target markets include Metro Area Networks, Carrier Networks, Data Centers, and Large Data Center Campus Connectivity.
