The ix Industrial Magnetics Connector from Amphenol CS offers next-generation industrial IoT connectivity, enabling Ethernet and other industrial protocols from the enterprise level down to sensors and actuators on the factory floor. These connectors deliver CAT6A performance for up to 10Gb/s Ethernet communication and support PoE++ up to 90W (IEEE 802.3bt). Designed for robust performance in electrically noisy environments, they feature 360 shielding for excellent EMC immunity and a secure 2-point metal latching system for durability and prevention of accidental disconnection. The field-terminable IDC plugs provide installation flexibility, and the connectors are fully mateable with other authorized ix Industrial plugs. Applications include traffic control, mobile communication, IoT, robotics, transportation, test equipment, building automation, and healthcare.
