Round downspout Applications
The downspouts are more and more widely applied in rain water storage solution. Downspout disconnection (sometimes called roof leader disconnection) represents a cost-effective on-site alternative for reducing the volume and cost of stormwater that requires public management. Runoff from residential rooftops is collected by eaves troughs, which are installed along the edge of the roofline. Water collected in the eaves trough is conveyed to ground level by one or more downspouts. Downspouts may then connect directly into the storm sewer system into a combined storm and sanitary sewer system. Disconnecting downspouts brings a number of economic and environmental benefits to the municipality and the homeowner.
