CI867K01 connects AC 800M to Modbus TCP devices through two Ethernet channels. The kit includes CI867 and TP867 and supports module redundancy and hot swap.

Controller connection. ABB states that CI867/TP867 connects an AC 800M controller to external Ethernet devices using Modbus TCP. The network connection is made through an Ethernet switch.

Lifecycle signal. ABB My Control System examples mark CI867K01 as Classic with a replacement available. The list view cited does not identify a direct successor part number.

Newer A hardware. Current ABB material lists CI867A (3BSE092689R1) as a one-channel interface and explicitly contrasts it with the earlier two-port CI867. Because the port count changes, this page does not present CI867A as a drop-in replacement. Confirm software version, addressing, master/slave roles and physical topology before migration.
