Can PM591-ETH be treated as the same hardware architecture as PM591-2ETH?
No. The two variants use different interface arrangements and the PM591-2ETH has its dedicated TB523-2ETH terminal-base requirement. Match the installed processor variant before ordering.
What should be checked before exchanging an installed processor?
Check the installed order code, terminal-base arrangement and existing project configuration. For a V2-to-V3 migration, review the application conversion requirements rather than treating the change as a physical module swap only.
