ABB Bailey IMASO11 Analog Output Module

ABB Bailey IMASO11 is an Analog Output (ASO) module for the INFI 90 OPEN Strategic Process Management System. It interfaces control modules with process field devices and is used by multifunction processor (MFP) or multifunction controller (MFC) modules to control process outputs. The module uses closed-loop output circuits with signal readback for output monitoring.

Module Operation

Each output channel has a closed-loop current/voltage circuit. The module monitors the output feedback and uses the feedback signal for readback through an A/D converter and the I/O expander bus. This allows the MFP to read individual channel feedback values.

At startup, the outputs automatically go to 0 percent, corresponding to 1 VDC or 4 mA. On an error condition, the module uses a configured fixed/default output value.
