ABB Bailey IMASO11 is an Analog Output (ASO) module for the INFI 90 OPEN Strategic Process Management System. It interfaces control modules with process field devices and is used by multifunction processor (MFP) or multifunction controller (MFC) modules to control process outputs. The module uses closed-loop output circuits with signal readback for output monitoring.

The module is designed for the INFI 90 OPEN architecture. It communicates with a multifunction processor or multifunction controller through the I/O expander bus. The module has a unique I/O address selected by its S1 address switch.
Historical Replacement: The manufacturer instruction explicitly states that IMASO11 can be used as a direct replacement for IMASO01.
IMASO11 is used in INFI 90 OPEN systems to send analog control signals from MFP/MFC modules to field devices.
These faults may affect process control and should be handled by qualified personnel following proper safety procedures.
Each output channel has a closed-loop current/voltage circuit. The module monitors the output feedback and uses the feedback signal for readback through an A/D converter and the I/O expander bus. This allows the MFP to read individual channel feedback values.
At startup, the outputs automatically go to 0 percent, corresponding to 1 VDC or 4 mA. On an error condition, the module uses a configured fixed/default output value.
