The Horizontal Ribbon Mixer uses inner and outer spiral ribbons that rotate simultaneously inside the mixing chamber. The outer ribbon moves materials toward both ends of the tank, while the inner ribbon transports materials back to the center. Working Principle
The machine adopts a horizontal U-shaped mixing chamber equipped with a double ribbon agitator.
When the motor starts, the ribbon agitator rotates at a constant speed. The inner and outer ribbons move materials in opposite directions, creating continuous convection and diffusion inside the chamber. This design allows materials to mix quickly and evenly without excessive shear.
Once the preset mixing time is reached, the discharge valve opens to release the finished batch efficiently with minimal residue, improving productivity and reducing cleaning time.
