1000 mm LLDPE Polyethylene Marine Navigation Buoy for Coastal and Inland Water

The DX-PE1000A is a compact yellow polyethylene buoy designed for coastal and inland water applications. Its manageable size, corrosion-resistant float body, and internal ballast make it suitable for projects requiring practical handling, efficient deployment, and low routine maintenance.

Not every project requires a large offshore buoy. The DX-PE1000A is designed for locations where a smaller navigation mark is easier to transport, install and maintain.

Its compact dimensions make it suitable for:

•     Coastal navigation marking
•     Nearshore navigation marking
•     Inland waterway marking
•     General marine buoy marking applications

The LLDPE Polyethylene float does not corrode like a conventional steel float and does not require the same routine protective repainting.

The EPS Foam filling helps maintain the buoy’s flotation performance, while the simple exterior makes routine inspection and cleaning easier.

With a self-weight of 140 kg and a 1000 mm float diameter, the DX-PE1000A is easier to handle than larger navigation buoy platforms.

This makes it practical for projects with:

•     Smaller service vessels
•     Limited storage space
•     Short deployment schedules
•     Routine removal and redeployment
•     Sites where heavy lifting equipment may be limited

The buoy uses an internal ballast arrangement to support its intended floating position. The stainless-steel-sleeved mooring hole provides a defined connection point for the mooring system.

The DX-PE1000A can be matched with a compact marine lantern such as the NFS1803P Marine Lantern.

The lantern can be selected according to:

•     Required visible range
•     Light colour
•     Flash character
•     Solar and battery requirements
•     Mounting arrangement

Dexonmarine combines buoy manufacturing with marine lantern expertise, helping customers select a compact navigation buoy and a suitable lantern for the project.

•     Specified Materials: The buoy uses an LLDPE Polyethylene float filled with EPS Foam, together with an internal ballast and a Stainless Steel Sleeve for the mooring connection.
•     Lantern matching: The buoy can be paired with a compact marine lantern according to the required visible range, light colour and flash character.
•     Practical project support: The buoy, lantern mounting and mooring connection requirements can be reviewed together before production.

The LLDPE Polyethylene float does not require the same corrosion-protection painting as a steel float. Regular cleaning and inspection are still recommended.

The float is filled with EPS Foam to provide additional buoyancy support.
