The Schneider Electric LMC600CBC10000 is a PacDrive 3 LMC600 high-performance logic motion controller supplied with an OM-P Profibus DP communication option module. It provides centralized PLC logic and synchronized motion control for machines requiring up to 99 Sercos servo or robot axes.

The OM-P module adds a further Profibus DP communication connection for machinery using legacy Profibus remote I/O, drives, instruments or production-line equipment. LMC600CBC10000 is the complete commercial reference and should be matched exactly when replacing an installed controller.

Compatible System and Applications

The LMC600CBC10000 is intended for PacDrive 3 machines requiring high-axis-count synchronized motion and additional Profibus DP connectivity. Typical applications include packaging machines, bottling and filling lines, printing equipment, material-handling systems, automated assembly machinery and production systems containing Profibus DP remote I/O or legacy field devices.

The installed Profibus network must be evaluated as a complete system. Verify master or slave configuration, network addresses, transmission rate, termination, GSD files, diagnostic settings and the controller application before replacement.

Maintenance and Replacement Notes

Confirm that the existing controller is the exact LMC600CBC10000 version and that an OM-P module is installed. Record the option-module slot, Profibus cable arrangement, node addresses and network parameters before disconnecting the original unit.

Back up the CompactFlash card and machine project. Verify firmware, controller revision, Sercos axis configuration, Ethernet settings, CANopen devices, digital and analog I/O wiring and complete cable set.

LMC600CAA10000 without the OM-P module is not an automatic equivalent. Migration to an LMC802 or another controller may require project conversion, Profibus-network changes, firmware updates and full machine recommissioning.
