Polyhedral calibration plate/3D stereo calibration plate is a high-precision calibration tool used in fields such as machine vision, photogrammetry, and 3D reconstruction. Its core function is to provide spatial depth information calibration for the visual system, thereby establishing accurate 3D geometric models and achieving high-precision measurement and reconstruction. Mainly used for system calibration and performance evaluation in fields such as machine vision, 3D scanning, and optical measurement. It adds active illumination function on the basis of traditional passive calibration board, providing more stable, controllable and suitable calibration conditions for complex environments.

Product features: high precision and repeatability, integrated design and portability, controllable performance parameters, customizable size and frequency band.

(1) Core scope of application;
Accuracy calibration and verification of 3D scanners, calibration of binocular stereo vision systems, calibration of structured light 3D reconstruction systems, establishment of spatial coordinates for photogrammetric systems, 3D vision positioning and grasping for robots, high-precision modeling for reverse engineering, calibration of industrial CT/non-destructive testing systems, and spatial calibration of multi camera arrays.
(2) Working principle:
The calibration board adopts a three-dimensional structure design (such as stepped, multi plane combination, etc.), and arranges high-precision feature point arrays on different spatial depth planes to provide known three-dimensional physical coordinate information for the visual system. After the camera captures images of the multi view stereo calibration board, the algorithm extracts the three-dimensional spatial coordinates of feature points on each plane, establishes an accurate mapping relationship between the image pixel coordinate system and the world three-dimensional coordinate system, solves the internal and external parameters and spatial pose relationship of the multi camera system, and completes the calibration and spatial calibration of the three-dimensional vision system. The active light source design effectively solves the problem of difficult feature extraction in traditional 3D calibration boards under complex lighting conditions, significantly improving calibration repeatability and accuracy.
