The near-infrared checkerboard calibration board is designed specifically for near-infrared (NIR) cameras and sensors. By using a special coating formula, the problem of contrast loss or uneven reflection of ordinary visible cursor positioning plates in the near-infrared band has been solved, ensuring that the checkerboard corner points still maintain sharp edges under near-infrared light sources. It is suitable for visual calibration in various active infrared, night vision, and filter scenes.

1. Working principle:
Adopting self-developed surface coating technology, stable high contrast checkerboard patterns are formed under near-infrared light source irradiation. The algorithm extracts sub-pixel corner points at the intersection of black and white grids, establishes a mapping relationship between the image coordinate system and the world coordinate system, and calculates the camera's internal parameters and distortion coefficients in the near-infrared spectrum, eliminating the aberrations and dark angles unique to near-infrared lenses.
2.Core scope of application:
Calibration of near-infrared industrial cameras, calibration of intelligent driving night vision systems, agricultural and food sorting vision systems, semiconductor packaging inspection, and fusion calibration of LiDAR and cameras.
