The large-sized checkerboard and dot composite calibration plate is a high-precision optical reference tool that combines the advantages of both calibration plates, suitable for multi-sensor calibration needs in large fields of view and complex working conditions.
1. Core Features
(1) Composite pattern design: Integrating both checkerboard corner and dot array features, it retains the advantages of high sub-pixel detection accuracy of checkerboard corner and native compatibility with OpenCV/Halcon platforms, as well as the anti defocusing, anti light interference, and stable 360 ° rotation recognition of dot calibration boards. Some models also have built-in global encoding identifiers, which can still complete pose calculation when partially occluded.
(2) Large size specifications: Conventional single block sizes can cover over 300 × 300mm, with a maximum of 3m × 5m integrated molding. It supports splicing to achieve a super large field of view coverage of over 10m, fully suitable for large field of view calibration scenarios such as autonomous driving, storage robots, and aerial remote sensing.
(3) Substrate and Process: Multiple substrates such as glass, metal, and carbon fiber composite materials can be selected, with a thermal expansion coefficient as low as 2-5 × 10 ⁻⁶/℃, a typical processing accuracy of ± 15-30 μ m, a matte low reflectivity treatment on the surface, an optical contrast ratio of ≥ 100:1, and stable feature point extraction even in strong light environments.
