Application:
The 1842912C1 exhaust valve is designed for Perkins 1300 and 1306 series six-cylinder diesel engines (7.6-8.7 L displacement), specifically 1306C-E87TAG (WGDF, WGEF, WGFF, WGHF builds), 1306-E76T (WK, WP variants), 1306-E76TA (WL), 1306-E87T (WM, WR), and 1306-E87TA (WN, WS) turbocharged models. This valve is also directly interchangeable with Navistar International DT408, DT466E, and DT530E HEUI diesel engines used in Class-6/7 haulage trucks, school buses, 150-300 kVA generator sets, and agricultural tractors. The component serves the exhaust function in high-boost, high-temperature diesel combustion environments where peak cylinder pressures exceed 180 bar and exhaust gas temperatures reach 750°C.

Material & performance features:
Manufactured from high-grade austenitic steel alloy 1.4871 (X53CrMnNiN219) or equivalent 21-4N derivative containing 21% chromium, 4% nickel, 9% manganese, and 0.45% nitrogen. The head undergoes solution treatment at 1,150°C followed by age-hardening to achieve 28-32 HRC hardness at ambient temperature, rising to 38 HRC at 700°C for superior creep resistance under continuous full-load exhaust temperatures up to 800°C. The stem receives gas nitriding treatment creating a 0.02-0.04 mm deep surface layer exceeding 750 HV hardness to resist scuffing during prolonged low-speed, high-boost operation.
