Application:
Perkins 1204E-E44TA, 1204F-E44TA, 1206E-E70TTA, and 1206F-E70TTA diesel engines (4.4L and 7.0L displacement) . This intake valve controls airflow into the combustion chamber in modern Tier 4 compliant diesel engines with high-pressure common rail fuel systems. Commonly deployed in FG Wilson 100-200 kVA generator sets, Massey Ferguson high-horsepower tractors (6475, 6480, 7465, 7475, 7480 series), JCB heavy excavators and wheeled loaders, and Bobcat compact equipment . Each 4-cylinder engine requires 4 intake valves; each 6-cylinder engine requires 6 intake valves .

Material & performance features:
Manufactured from premium high-chromium stainless steel forging containing 12-15% Cr, 0.35-0.45% C, with additions of Mo and Si for enhanced high-temperature strength and corrosion resistance . The valve head undergoes solution treatment at 1,050-1,100°C followed by age-hardening to achieve 25-30 HRC hardness, maintaining structural integrity at intake air temperatures up to 250°C in turbocharged applications.The stem receives advanced gas nitriding creating a 0.02-0.04 mm deep surface layer exceeding 700 HV hardness to resist scuffing during prolonged operation . The seat angle is precision-machined to Ra 0.4-0.8 µm finish, ensuring positive sealing with the valve seat insert (3314A251 or 3314A261 depending on engine variant) and preventing intake air leakage and compression loss. The tip is induction-hardened to 50-55 HRC to resist cupping under 1,000-1,200 N valve spring loads .
