The 3142A151 exhaust valve is engineered for Perkins 1103 and 1104 series diesel engines in both three-cylinder and four-cylinder configurations. This includes 1103A-33, 1103A-33T, 1103B-33, 1103B-33T, 1103C-33, 1103C-33T, 1104C-44, 1104C-44T, 1104D-44, and 1104D-44T variants.
These powerplants are extensively deployed in JCB backhoe loaders (3CX, 4CX), telescopic handlers (Loadall series), wheeled loaders, skid steer loaders, and forklift trucks. The valve also serves Massey Ferguson agricultural tractors across multiple series including 3400, 400, 5400, 6400, 7400, and 8900 models, as well as construction and material handling equipment from Doosan, Manitou, Voegele, and Wacker-Neuson.
Additionally, this component fits Cat 3054C-E series engines used in compact construction machinery. The valve head material provides exceptional high-temperature strength and oxidation resistance in severe-service diesel environments exceeding 850°C exhaust gas temperatures.
Precision grinding of the stem surface achieves dimensional tolerance of ±0.01 mm and surface finish Ra < 0.2 μm, ensuring consistent guide bushing lubrication and preventing carbon buildup that causes valve sticking. The 30° sealing face is precision-ground and lapped to achieve a surface finish Ra < 0.4 μm, ensuring optimal sealing against the exhaust valve seat insert (3314A231) and preventing combustion gas leakage under turbocharged conditions.
