Usage: Vacuum Blood Collection Tube is used together with blood collection needle and holder for Blood Sample Collection from Vein for clinic testing.

EDTA tubes are coated with K2EDTA or K3EDTA, used for examination of whole blood in haematology, it be used in direct sampling analyzer without actually being opened. EDTA binds the calcium ions and therefore blocks the coagulation cascade. Erythrocytes, leucocytes and thrombocytes in an EDTA anticoagulated blood sample are stable for up to 24 hours.

1. Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid is an amino polycarboxylic acid that can effectively integrate calcium ions in the human blood. Integrating calcium ions will transfer calcium from the reaction point, prevent and terminate endogenous or exogenous coagulation processes, and thus prevent blood coagulation. Compared with other anticoagulants, it has less impact on the aggregation of blood cells and the morphology of blood cells, so EDTA salts (2K, 3K, 2Na) are usually used as anticoagulants. Used for general hematological (blood routine) examinations and blood ammonia testing. It cannot be used for blood coagulation or trace element testing.

2. Spray EDTA salt evenly on the inner wall of the blood collection vessel to ensure full mixing with the blood sample. EDTA salts can effectively prevent platelet aggregation, prevent coagulation, and protect the morphology and volume of blood cells from being affected for a long time.

3. Blood routine blood sampling is used for the collection and preservation of blood samples for human blood routine examinations and venous whole blood experiments, and is suitable for various blood cell analyzers.
