Stepped 21700 packs need tabs that follow the step — and inclined stamping nickel strip shapes the material to match without stressing the joint. Our 2P/3P/4P patterns are stamped from Ni200/Ni201 pure nickel (≥99.2%/≥99.0% Ni) with low electrical resistivity of 0.096 μΩ·m, with step geometry and widths locked against your drawing. Every batch is made on our own nickel-only line, inspected per batch and shipped with EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates — 5 kg MOQ, 7-15 day delivery for standard production.
Inclined stamping produces stepped tab geometry for 21700 pack layouts, in 2P/3P/4P patterns, with thickness of 0.05-0.5 mm (hot-sale 0.15/0.2 mm) and battery widths of 2-15 mm. Step angles, pitch and tolerances are confirmed against the drawing before production and locked in the batch record.
Stepped battery layouts place cells at different heights, so a flat strip cannot connect them without bending or stress. Inclined stamping shapes the strip with the step built in — the tab lands flat on each cell with no forced deformation at the joint.
Step height and angle must match the cell layout exactly, or the weld pad drifts off the tab. Step geometry is punched to the drawing and verified per batch, so every joint in the pack lands where it should.
Inclined stamping bends the material at the step, so ductility matters: annealed pure nickel strip with elongation of ≥35% forms the step cleanly without cracking, and low resistivity of 0.096 μΩ·m keeps weld behaviour consistent afterwards.

Quality control starts at the melt: raw material composition is verified against UNS N02200/N02201 before rolling, then every batch is gauged for step geometry, pattern, thickness and surface condition, and checked for burr and stamping defects against the drawing.
