Battery spot welding rewards consistency: strip that varies in thickness or resistivity shows up as weak welds on the line. Our pure nickel strip for battery spot welding is produced with tight thickness control and low electrical resistivity (0.096 μΩ·m), in Ni200 and Ni201 grades, with custom widths and thicknesses locked against your drawing. The battery series covers 2-15 mm widths and 1P-9P patterns for 18650/26650 cells, 1P-5P for 32650. Every batch is made on our own nickel-only line and shipped with EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates from an ISO 9001 certified facility — 5 kg MOQ, 7-15 day delivery.
Pure nickel strip is produced in thicknesses of 0.05-0.5 mm (hot-sale 0.15/0.2 mm) and widths of 5-200 mm as standard; the battery strip series covers 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 and 15 mm widths. Patterns are available from 1P to 9P for 18650 and 26650 cells and 1P to 5P for 32650, with available space of 18.5, 19, 19.5 and 20.2 mm. Custom sizes and tolerances are confirmed against the drawing before production and locked in the batch record.

Spot welding quality depends on consistent electrical resistance along the strip. Pure nickel strip at 0.096 μΩ·m (20 °C) delivers low, uniform resistance, supporting consistent heat generation at the weld point batch after batch.
Weld strength tracks thickness: variation across the strip changes contact pressure and current density at the weld tip. Thickness is held within drawing tolerances and gauged per batch, so 18650, 21700, 26650 and 32650 packs weld uniformly.
Ni200 (≥99.2% Ni) is the workhorse grade for battery strip; Ni201 (≥99.0% Ni, ≤0.02% C) is available where low-carbon stability matters at elevated temperature. Grade selection is confirmed against the application.
