UNS N02200 is the unified designation for Ni200 — commercial-purity nickel with Ni ≥99.2% and carbon ≤0.15%. Ordering by UNS number removes ambiguity across suppliers and specs, because the designation fixes composition limits independently of trade names. Ni201, by contrast, is UNS N02201 with carbon capped at 0.02% for sensitization-free service. This page supplies both, with composition verified per batch against the catalog.
At 0.025 mm, diameter tolerance and surface finish dominate performance — a few microns of drift changes mesh opening size and winding tension.
