Deep Integration with DJI SDK The OWL-350 parachute is built on DJI SDK, deeply integrated with DJI’s flight control system, allowing real-time detection of drone flight data.
APS 3.0 Parachute Deployment Algorithm Equipped with industrial-grade sensors and the APS 3.0 parachute opening algorithm, the system can detect abnormal situations such as falling, speeding, rolling, spinning impact, and propeller vibration. The APS 3.0 algorithm uses data from both the drone’s attitude sensor and the parachute’s built-in sensors to assess the flight situation and determine the optimal time for parachute deployment.
Optimized Deployment Speed The APS 3.0 algorithm increases the deployment speed by 20% compared to previous systems, enabling faster parachute opening and tangle-free attitude calculation, ensuring safe and efficient deployment.
Redundant Sensor Design The parachute features redundant sensors, ensuring that if one sensor fails, the other will seamlessly take over, maintaining accurate recognition of the drone’s flight status for enhanced flight safety.
New-Generation Parachute with Aluminum Alloy Mount The M350 parachute is designed with a new aluminum alloy mount, preserving the drone’s original form and structure. The system is easy to install, with no need to remove the drone’s arm screws, offering a more convenient and efficient installation process.
Comprehensive Acoustic and Visual Warning System The parachute includes two high-powered buzzers that emit sound immediately after deployment. Indicator lights turn solid red, alerting ground personnel to avoid the area. Additionally, the parachute system includes propeller stop protection before deployment.
Independent Power Supply The OWL-350 parachute system has a built-in battery. In the event of a data cable disconnection or power failure during flight, the parachute will switch to the backup power supply, ensuring up to 30 minutes of continued operation and uninterrupted safety even when disconnected from the drone.
Smooth Descent Speed The parachute ensures a descent speed of 3.5m/s, with a calculated impact energy of 55 joules (equivalent to a free fall from a height of 0.7 meters), minimizing potential damage upon landing.
Fully Enclosed Parachute Compartment The parachute compartment is fully enclosed, providing protection from external environmental interference. It is waterproof and dustproof, and the parachute fabric is coated, making it lightweight, compact, and moisture-resistant. The system requires no maintenance for up to two years under normal use.
