The PT2 Dual-Purpose Rope Descent & Airdrop Device is a multi-functional airdrop accessory developed based on DJI PSDK, perfectly compatible with DJI gimbal components and applicable to DJI Matrice 400, Matrice 350 RTK and Matrice 300 RTK UAVs. Boasting an ultra-lightweight design of only 250g, it minimizes the payload burden on UAVs while ensuring reliable performance, integrating seamlessly into diverse professional aerial operation workflows.
As a dual-purpose device, it supports two core working modes: two-stage airdrop and rope descent with a wire spool. Controlled via DJI Pilot 2, users can flexibly switch between modes—either use it for two-stage airdrop with unrestricted drop order, supporting single-point drop and one-click full drop; or cooperate with a wire spool to realize rope lifting and lowering through button control, achieving precise vertical delivery of items. In emergency situations, users can trigger one-click decoupling to drop the wire spool, ensuring fast and safe operation to cope with unexpected scenarios.
It features a maximum single-hook load of 2.5kg, a total airdrop load of 5kg, and a rope descent total load of 2.5kg (actual load subject to UAV payload capacity), adapting to lightweight to medium-weight item delivery needs. Adopting gimbal interface quick-release installation and DJI SkyPort V2 interface, it enables fast assembly and disassembly as well as stable power supply and communication. With an IP4X protection rating, 24W rated power, and wide temperature adaptability (-10℃ to 50℃ working temperature, -20℃ to 60℃ storage temperature), it maintains reliable performance in harsh outdoor environments, serving as an ideal solution for rescue, material delivery and other scenarios.
