The Pressure Spray Dryer ValuePlus Series is a continuous spray drying equipment optimized for Southeast Asian and African markets. It uses a high-pressure pump to pressurize the liquid feed and atomizes it through a pressure nozzle for drying in contact with hot air. Compared to centrifugal spray dryers, it is more suitable for producing powder products with larger particle size, higher bulk density and better flowability, especially widely used in detergent, dye and ceramic industries.
Working Principle
The filtered liquid feed is pressurized to 2 to 20 MPa by a high-pressure plunger pump and atomized into a conical liquid sheet through a pressure nozzle, which then breaks into droplets. The droplets come into contact with filtered and heated hot air in the drying tower (co-current, counter-current or mixed-flow configurations available), and moisture evaporates rapidly, drying into solid particles. The product is collected at the tower bottom and by a cyclone separator, while exhaust gas is dedusted and discharged.
