I. Working Principle
The drying chamber is sealed and evacuated during operation, reducing the vaporization temperature of moisture in the material, enabling dehydration at low temperatures and effectively preventing thermal degradation or oxidation. The chamber rotates slowly and continuously, ensuring uniform heating, constant agitation, no clumping, and stable moisture content after drying. The entire system operates in a fully enclosed environment, minimizing dust dispersion and material loss. Parts in contact with the material are made of stainless steel, allowing easy disassembly and cleaning to meet GMP production requirements.
The equipment requires minimal hot air input, resulting in moderate energy consumption, and can process powders, wet granules, extracts, and similar materials. Compared to hot-air drying, the vacuum environment allows for recovery of organic solvents, making it ideal for materials containing ethanol, or other volatile solvents. Highly automated, the system enables precise control over temperature, vacuum level, and drying time, offering simple operation. Due to its batch-type operation, it is well-suited for drying small to medium quantities of high-value materials and is commonly used in drying active pharmaceutical ingredients and traditional Chinese medicine extracts.
