Product Features
Designed for low-pressure pipe-end sealing applications involving chlorinated media, highly corrosive environments and clean fluids, the core body is constructed from 5A super duplex steel to provide corrosion resistance, whilst a superalloy with a yield strength exceeding 500 MPa comprehensively prevents chlorine-induced corrosion damage; combined with PTFE seals to harness their chemical inertness, it withstands long-term contact with acidic and alkaline media. The 12-inch large-bore design ensures efficient flow, whilst the 150LB pressure rating is precisely matched to operating conditions. Bolstered by a dual corrosion-resistant system, it establishes a controllable, leak-free dead-end sealing defence.
Product Advantages
● hort bolts with low creep ensure that clamping force does not diminish over time; bolts on both sides apply force independently, preventing additional compression on the sealing surface and inherently reducing the risk of external leakage.
● The valve opening is clearly visible, facilitating rapid on-site assessment, and is suitable for frequent operation and isolation during maintenance.
● The double-eccentric design ensures that, upon closure, the disc wedges into the seat along an eccentric path; the higher the medium pressure, the greater the sealing contact pressure. Zero leakage is guaranteed by the robust structural design itself, rather than relying on elastic recovery.
