   When selecting valves for 6-inch low-to-medium pressure, high-flow pipelines, ‘insufficient corrosion resistance leading to rapid wear and tear, and high-end materials exceeding the budget’ are common points for many users. This manually operated, lug-mounted, double-eccentric PTFE soft-seal butterfly valve utilises 4A duplex stainless steel as the core material for both the valve body and disc. Designed to meet the 150 lb ANSI pressure rating and a 6-inch standard nominal diameter, it strikes a precise balance between corrosion resistance, operational stability and procurement costs, making it the preferred solution for general applications where performance and budget must be balanced.

Product Advantages

   ● The valve body features a one-piece lug structure with standard internal threaded holes pre-machined around its circumference, compatible with multiple flange standards including ANSI and DIN. It supports both double-flanged fastening and single-flanged wafer-type installation, significantly enhancing flexibility in pipeline adaptation.
   ● The double-eccentric rotary design utilises dual offsets—one in the shaft and one in the sealing face—ensuring that the disc only makes brief contact with the seat when approaching the fully open or fully closed positions during the opening and closing stroke. This design significantly reduces the torque required for operation, making manual operation easier whilst effectively protecting the PTFE and disc sealing faces, thereby extending the service life of the sealing pair many times over; When closed, the wedge-locking effect created by the eccentric structure utilises the medium pressure to further compress the sealing surfaces; the higher the working pressure, the tighter the seal, enabling the valve to easily cope with fluctuations in pipeline pressure differentials.
   ● Equipped with an optimised manual drive mechanism, it requires no external power supply, compressed air or any other power source, completely eliminating restrictions imposed by operational power conditions. It can be used reliably in scenarios such as remote outdoor pipeline networks, explosion-proof workshops and emergency repairs.
