Product Features

     In ultra-large-scale industrial pipeline networks of the DN800 mm class, a decline in valve performance is a common challenge across the industry — as the nominal diameter increases, the circumferential stress on the valve body multiplies, making it prone to deformation; it is difficult to ensure the fitting accuracy of large-diameter sealing surfaces; leakage rates rise significantly under reverse pressure; and valve bodies weighing several tonnes often result in persistently high operation, maintenance and repair costs. This manually operated, butt-welded triple-offset butterfly valve has been custom-developed for ultra-large-scale, medium-to-high-pressure, heavy-duty applications. Centred on a gradient material structure comprising a WCB carbon steel valve body and a CF8M stainless steel disc, it incorporates an all-metal ‘hard-on-hard’ bidirectional seal and three-dimensional triple-offset rotation technology, it achieves bidirectional zero-leakage performance at the PN25 pressure rating even with an ultra-large 800 mm nominal diameter, providing a high-rigidity, long-life, low-maintenance fluid control solution for ultra-large trunk pipeline networks.

Product Advantages

   ● The valve body is precision-cast as a single piece from high-quality WCB carbon steel. Utilising finite element analysis to optimise wall thickness distribution and rib layout, it significantly enhances circumferential rigidity and resistance to deformation whilst keeping the overall weight of the valve body within reasonable limits. During long-term operation, the ovality deviation of the valve body is controlled to the micrometre level, thereby eliminating at source the problem of ‘seal misalignment due to valve body deformation’ commonly found in large-bore valves.
  ● Utilising a proven three-dimensional triple-eccentric design, the conical sealing surfaces achieve a bidirectional wedge-shaped self-tightening effect to meet bidirectional sealing requirements: forward medium pressure pushes the disc against the seat, whilst reverse medium pressure similarly drives the sealing surfaces to engage and lock, truly realising the bidirectional self-tightening effect where ‘the higher the pressure, the tighter the seal’.
  ● Overcoming the performance limitations of conventional large-bore butterfly valves—where ‘forward sealing meets standards whilst reverse leakage exceeds limits’—the valve employs a symmetrical conical metal hard-seal pair design.
