Product Features

     Designed in accordance with U.S. industrial piping standards, this product integrates high-quality cast materials, custom reduced-bore flow paths, and a standard pressure-bearing system to deliver a cost-effective fluid control solution specifically engineered for low- to medium-pressure heat tracing applications. The WCB carbon cast steel valve body is integrally cast, combining high-strength pressure-bearing capacity with excellent weldability, and is suitable for a wide temperature range of -29°C to 425°C; The CF8M stainless steel internals contain molybdenum, providing corrosion and erosion resistance to reliably handle mildly corrosive media and high-temperature steam environments. The custom 12“ inlet × 10” outlet reduced-bore flow path directly matches main pipeline connections, eliminating the need for additional reducers and saving on procurement and installation costs; the reduced-bore design optimizes the flow field and reduces opening and closing torque, delivering dual improvements in flow capacity and operational efficiency. The entire unit complies with the ANSI B16.34 standard, Class 150 pressure rating, and withstands a pressure of 2.0 MPa at ambient temperature. Its parameters are highly compatible with mainstream medium- and low-pressure industrial pipelines, offering a wide range of applicability and ample pressure margin.

Product Advantages

   ● Features a circumferential thermal insulation jacket welded as a single piece from WCB carbon steel—the same material as the valve body. The jacket cavity uniformly encloses the valve’s flow passage; its volume and flow path layout have been optimized through fluid simulation, allowing for circulation of various heat transfer media—such as steam, thermal oil, and hot water—for heat tracing.
  ● It employs a classic three-dimensional eccentric structure (shaft eccentricity, sealing face eccentricity, and cone angle eccentricity), which, based on mechanical principles, ensures that the sealing faces of the butterfly disc and the valve seat do not experience any friction or scraping throughout the entire opening and closing cycle: At the moment of opening, the butterfly disc immediately moves radially away from the seat; during the final stage of closing, it gradually contacts and compresses against the seat. This fundamentally reduces wear on the sealing surfaces while significantly lowering the opening and closing torque, resulting in lower drive energy consumption and more cost-effective actuator selection.
  ● It employs an all-metal-to-metal hard-on-hard sealing structure. The sealing pair features a CF8M stainless steel base, with the sealing surfaces overlaid with high-hardness cobalt-based cemented carbide (Stellite). The surface hardness can reach HRC 40 or higher, offering wear resistance, erosion resistance, and high-temperature resistance that far surpass those of traditional soft-seal structures. It can withstand long-term exposure to high-temperature media and continuous erosion from media containing trace particles.
